Good Huemer
A few months ago these pages were full of the rescue of the Dick Huemer Mural. We helped save the walls; we got them in temporary storage; we moved them over to the restorer; now we need to figure out a way to pay for the very expensive restoration.
Ray Pointer (animator, animation historian, and silent animation film buff) with Dr. Richard P. Huemer (son of Dick Huemer and noted authority of his father`s work) along with ASIFA-Hollywood are proud to announce a fundraiser to help defray the cost of saving this important piece of animation history.
Rare Huemer cartoons, Dick Huemer caricatures and memorabilia and insights into a career that started at Raoul Barre`s New York Studio (the very first animation studio) and ended at Disney during the golden age of feature animation.
