It is nice to go to an animation event and only be 30 minutes from home. Most times I`m on the road for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. It is always nice to see Sol and Martha no matter how long the drive. These are some of the reasons that I really enjoyed myself at the Fashion Island Chuck Jones Gallery Opening.
Bugs Bunny was also in attendance and Sol asked him if he know were he got his name from and then preceded to tell him the Bugs Hardaway story. Go Sol !!!
A number of the Jones family were in attendance. Rob Minkoff of Lion King fame dropped in. Animated-News reporter Christian Ziebarth showed up claiming that he found out about the event from the ASIFA blog. (Only fair, I check his site daily looking for stories to steal)
