FREE ANIMATION SOFTWARE: If you are a student planning on taking part in the ASIFA-Hollywood Student Animation Festival ask your animation program to Pre-Register for the festival so that you will be eligible for a free copy of 2-D Animation software. If you are an animation educator Pre-Register your program and get your students a free copy of FlipBook. (Festival copies of FlipBoof are time coded and fully functioning and will be good until the October 2008 Festival screening date) Animation Program Contact: Send an email to festival@agni-animation.com Subject Line: Pre-Register Include in your email the name of your animation program and a URL to your animation program`s website You will recieve an invite to join the ASIFA-Hollywood Animation Educators` Forum users group. Respond to the link and join the Users Group. (You will have to set up a Yahoo Account to join) Once you are in the AEF Users Group click on the database link. Click on the Animaiton_Festival database. Click on Add Record Fill in School Program name Contact Person School Phone Number Contact person`s email School Address, City, State & Zip Code Then put in all the names of your Student Filmmakers (list all the names on one line separated by commas Save the Record Then your students can download FlipBook at www.digicelinc.com/download Email their FlipBook ID to unlock@digicel.net Make sure that they include in their email that they are entering a film in the ASIFA-Hollywood Student Animation Festival. The code to unlock FlipBook will be emailed to them. Their copy of FlipBook will be good until the October 2008 festival date.
