The Awards Ceremony and Reception afterwards are free and open to the public.

They would appreciate the donation of $5 from non-members to help them continue to serve the animation community in the New York area and beyond.

Please note: The Awards Ceremony will be held in the NEW Tishman Auditorium at 63 Fifth Avenue, at the Northeast corner of 13th Street and 5th Avenue. The Reception will be held at Wollman Hall directly after the Awards Ceremony. Wollman Hall is located on the 5th floor at 65 West 11th Street between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue. Our After-Party will be held at Fiddlesticks Pub, located at 56 Greenwich Avenue. The back room with the pool table is reserved for ASIFA-East.

Debuting in 1969, the ASIFA-East Animated Film Festival is one of the longest running festivals of its kind. The festival is a unique showcase for the most groundbreaking independent and commercial animation being produced in the industry today. Every February, entries are submitted and judged during special jury screenings in March. Only current ASIFA-East members are permitted to vote for the winning films. The votes are sealed and tallied by an independent accountant and announced at a special awards ceremony in the Spring.
