Animation Educators Forum invites you to their 13th Annual General Membership Meeting on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, 11 AM PST via Zoom!
Following a review of the events and programs completed in 2023, the AEF will hold a roundtable discussion titled “Beyond the Classroom: Animation as a Tool for Mental Wellness”. Join us as we explore the broader implications of incorporating animation not only as a subject of study but also as a practical tool for mental wellness. How can animation be utilized as a means of self-expression, stress relief and coping? What role does neurodiversity play in animation creation, and how can we best help all of our students?
Featured speakers include Dani Bowman, Entrepreneur, Teacher, Autism Advocate, Speaker & Producer, Kathy Baur, AEF Steering Committee Member & Assistant Professor of Animation at CSU Fullerton and Charles daCosta, AEF Steering Committee Member & Lecturer in Animation at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia.
