Netflix Invites You + Guest (ASIFA Member +1) to A Special Pre-release Screening of ‘I Lost My Body’
Monday, November 18 at 7:00pm
Raleigh Studios – Chaplin Theater
Van Ness Gate
677 North Van Ness
Los Angeles, 90038
In a Parisian laboratory, a severed hand escapes its unhappy fate and sets out to reconnect with its body. During a hair-raising escapade across the city, the extremity fends off pigeons and rats alike to reunite with pizza boy Naoufel. The hand’s memories of Naoufel and his love for librarian Gabrielle may provide answers about what caused the hand’s separation, and a poetic backdrop for a possible reunion between the three. Based on the novel “Happy Hand” by Guillaume Laurant.
A Q&A with director Jeremy Clapin, and producer Marc du Pontavice will follow the screening. Moderated by Frank Gladstone.
