Members Will Receive Discount at The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad Screening at the Alex

Back in the day, Ray Harryhausen was essentially a one man band, creating visually impressive environments and magical characters that seemed as real as the humans who invaded these dreamlike lands. He gave us visions that continue to inspire today’s filmmakers.

The Seventh Voyage Of Sinbad was the first of Harryhausen’s films to be produced in color, an advancement that complicated his work significantly, but also lead to many more animated projects in the years that followed. And if things couldn’t get any better, besides the Cyclops, Snake Woman, two-headed Roc, fire-breathing Dragon and sword wielding Skeleton, there’s also Bernard Herrmann’s legendary score.

Tickets can be purchased online. Members of ASIFA-Hollywood will receive information on how to receive a discount at the theater via email.
