A Special Screening and Reception for Crow: The Legend
In a time before mankind there exists only Spring. The world is always sunny and the animals live contented lives, free of worry. Of all the animals, Crow is the most admired for his dazzling plumage and mellifluous voice. But then, for reasons unknown, the Spirit of the Seasons brings Winter to the forest for the very first time. The once carefree animals realize that their lives are in danger. Who among them could make the harrowing skyward journey to persuade “The One Who Creates Everything by Thinking” to help them in their time of need? The answer is obvious, yet the solution not so, for what must Crow sacrifice to save his friends?
A Q&A will follow the screening, featuring producer Maureen Fan, director Eric Darnell, and CEO of Native Americans in Philanthropy Sarah Eagle Heart, moderated by Frank Gladstone. After the Q&A, food and beverages will be served and ASIFA members will also have the opportunity to experience the Virtual Reality version of the film.
