Annie Award Voting Continues

Pro-members who have qualified to vote now have this year’s Annie Award ballots and voting instructions.

All qualified voters are able to vote in every category, though they will not have to vote in every category to complete their ballot. In most cases, members will be able to watch a video clip from each of the nominees. In some categories, the entire project will be posted. In others, a collection of stills will be available. Voters who have already seen the work are able to “scrub through” the clips or skip them entirely.

Annie Award voting uses a weighted system. There may be up to eight nominees in a given category, but members will only vote for their top three selections, giving a #1 to the first choice, #2 to second choice and #3 to the final choice. Voters do not have to vote for three nominees in each category, but can opt to vote for two or even just one. Members may also refrain from casting a vote in any category for which they do not feel qualified to vote.

Ballots do not have to be completed in one sitting. Selections are saved automatically, so voters can log out at any time and then log in to return to the ballot as often as needed during the voting period.

The deadline to cast ballots is midnight, Monday, January 19th, 2015. Late ballots will not be counted. No exceptions.

Thank you in advance for voting! We hope to see you at the 42nd Annual Annie Awards on Saturday, January 31st, at UCLA’s Royce Hall. Event information is available at http://annieawards.org/eventinfo.html
