The AfroAnimation Summit 4.0 has grown in just 3-years to a multicultural community of nearly 6,000 diverse storytellers, content creators, producers, artists, and studio executives. AfroAnimation will premiere some of the best US and global indie short animation films created by women and underrepresented artists and producers.
Winning this award can be life-changing for a filmmaker and can bring worldwide attention to impactful diverse animation stories. The short film jury is made up of individuals with original, diverse, and BIPOC points of view from the global film community.
