One More Week to Apply for Annie Nominating Committees

October 5th is the deadline for this year’s ASIFA-Hollywood 42nd Annual Annie Award Call for Nominating Committee Judges.

To be considered for a nominating committee, judges must have an established career in animation and exemplary professional credentials in at least one of the Annie Award categories.

Filling out the application will put you on our list of nomination judge candidates, but will not guarantee you a committee position. However, if you are chosen, you must be prepared to spend a few hours in early November looking at your committee’s submissions online and then, sometime between November 10th and 24th, you will meet with your committee in person for the final nominee selection. Additionally, some judges may also be selected to participate in final jury procedures in late January, immediately following the general membership vote. If you are not on the list as a current pro-level member or your address is not correct, you may not get your “for your consideration” materials (DVD screeners, screening invitations and calendars, etc.) and your Annie Award ballot may not get to you.

• Fill out and submit the application.
• Important note: If you filled out a submission form last year, there is no need to submit another–you are still on the list!

It is possible for non-members to apply to be judges. If you fit the criteria above, please email votinghelp@annieawards.org and the team will facilitate this for you.

All judges will receive two complementary VIP tickets (one per judge and one for a guest) to the 42nd Annual Annie Award ceremony at UCLA’s Royce Hall, on Saturday, January 31st, 2015. Tickets are non-transferable.
