Responding to an Animation Tragedy

All of us at ASIFA-Hollywood were shocked and distressed at this morning’s news regarding the tragedy at the Kyoto Animation Studio. All of our thoughts are with the remarkable people who work at KyoAni, one of the first successful anime studios outside of Tokyo, noted for it’s progressive hiring and employment policies and for the quality and humanity of their broadcast and feature projects. 

The ASIFA-Hollywood Animation Aid Foundation had already taken part in some small way to provide some help to the studio. We would like to suggest that our members and friends consider donating some amount to the \”Help KyoAni Heal” GoFundMe campaign as well.
