The Animation Educators Forum Faculty Grant Program Calls for Applications

ASIFA-Hollywood and the Animation Educators Forum are now accepting applications for the 2019 Faculty Grant program. The program provides support for individuals or groups with reasonable expenditures associated with independent research, scholarly activity or creative projects in the field of animation. Applications must be submitted online before Friday, February 15, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Recipients will be announced in April 2019. Both full-time and adjunct faculty are eligible for the grants, which range from US $1,000 to a maximum of US $5,000 per recipient. Expenditures must occur during the year running from 2019 to 2020.

This past year, the program helped fund the production of three animated short films and a book on acting for animation. These projects were in line with the Forum’s continuing desire to assist faculty in their independent creative and scholarly work.

All ASIFA-Hollywood’s Animation Educators Forum members are eligible for Faculty Grants. To become an AEF member, simply send an email to info@animationeducatorsforum.org to request membership. There is no cost to become a member, but you must include your resume or bio as proof of your full time or adjunct faculty status.
